Day by the Seaside - Broadstairs!
The final leg of the DuFFS Day by the seaside took place at Revolutionz skatepark in Broadstairs Kent, the comp went off with kids attending from all over to get their hands on some DuFFS product! The revolutions guys know how to get things going and the skating was super good the standard was really high and the st course was seeing some serious action in the warm up sessions!

Ben Raemers in the rafters!
The comp was split into under 16 and over 16 sections and run in a jam format giving each skater 5 mins to impress the judges. Under 16’s were 1st up and the competition was tough! Kids were going down trying to earn their place in the finals. In the end the guys who made it through were really up against it as there was some seriously impressive skating going down. It came down to 2 guys battling it out for 1st place James Makone and Kasper Coyle Both were skating really consistently and using the whole park, in the end it turned out James came out on top with Kasper in 2nd a special mention also for the 2 youngest finalists Harry Ramsey and Bob Bennett who were going off doing things they had never even done before the finals!

Harry Ramsey - FS Air
In the over 16s it was going to be really tough to make it through to the 5 man finals everyone was going off! Ali Drummond was killing the big rail with smiths, fs blunt slides tre flips everywhere, James isles was super consistent with flip after flip even a big flip over the hip! Local camp Phil was cruising with some huge airs over the box, and some nice lines, Chris Hemple might have had his sister’s jeans on but he was skating like a man! With 50’s and krooks down the big rail tre flips galore but a few too many bails kept him down the list. In the end Jamie Morley came out on top with 50-50s along and down the big rail along with tail slides and kick flip 50-50s on the block and even 50-50 kick flip out on the block!! Jamie flowed and put down loads of stuff to take the win! With James isles and Ali close in 2nd and 3rd!

Jamie Morely - Over-16s winner

Chris Hemple

Ali Drummond - FS Blunt
In the demo sessions Cundall, Munson and Raemers were throwing down with Cundall dropping some nice lines in the st course and some really good BS smiths on the midi ramp and he even managed his 1st ever crail slide! Check the photo for evidence! Munson was inverting, fingerfliping to tail and even did some footplant fakies on the wall of the mini ramp. Raemers just keeps getting better with huge 360s over the jump box in the street course and he dropped a couple of massive heel flip indie’s over it to take some more money from Munson! Also on the midi he did some huge methods and re-learnt andrect’s again with Munson after the comp finished.

Ben Cundall - Crail Slide
Overall the comp was amazing loads of good skating and the standard was super high! A really fun day was had by all plus the sticker toss was hilarious, absolute carnage!
