Phil Aller's WMD Update...

REVOLUTION WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION CONTEST
SUNDAY 15th NOVEMBER 2004

"Me and my friend Jay travelled up to Ramsgate in Kent to see my friend Chris who I hadn't seen in ages and the same weekend it happened to be the Weapons of Mass Destruction Bmx jam in Broadstairs on the Sunday. I hadn't ridden the park before but after a couple of hours of riding i thought yep good vibes and signed myself up.

Things got organised really quickly with a Rock/Punk band performing on top of the corner bowl - things looked up for a good day.

Intermediate was first with some great riding, Amateur was next which consisted of three brave little rippers battling it out for top spot. Amateur was shut down with a wee nipper just short of three foot busting a huge no footer over the volcano.

last was Open which consisted of twenty or so riders (including me). Some great riding was shown with lots of locals and outsiders tearing it up. I got first and I'm pretty sure some dude from the states got second.
