DuFFS USA update...

JASON ADAMS...
is currently at home in San Jose. His first Enjoi ad is out right now in all the new magazines so check it out - notice the Duffs shirt! This month 'The Kid' also has a two-page spread ending Slap’s editorial called “Curtains” with a wallie boardslide down a double kinked hubba. Check out his most recent wall ride shot thru a corner in the November issue of Slap. Amazing!

STACY LOWERY...
is working on his interview with Chris Ortiz. Depending on the amount of photos he gets his interview can turn into a “Good Stuff” 20 questions or a full length Pro Spotlight interview for Transworld. At the beginning of last month Stacy won the “Longest Ollie” contest and is this year’s long ollie champion, so congrats go out to Stacy. He recently got back from filming his intro to his part in the Santa Cruz video. Rumor has it he robbed a convenience store with Jason Jesse & Corey O’Brien. (R.P. side note) Jason’s one of my favorites.


MATT HENSLEY...
(another of R.P's favourites) has been on the road with Flogging Molly since June. He gets home in a couple days and then takes off to Europe a few days after that. He says he’ll be at the Sales meeting dinner on December 7. Maybe he’ll bring the accordion and play a tune or two. The new album is reaching record highs for them and things seem to be going well.




JAMES ATKIN AND THE NUGE...
just got back into town from a two and a half week tour with their board sponsor, Hellrose. Las Vegas, St. George, Salt Lake City, Denver, Boulder, Albuquerque, Phoenix and Tucson were all visited. (see trip report for details).

NATE KOCAKA...
is done nursing a bad ankle. He’s been plagued with an ankle sprain ever since we did that C&C demo back in August. And so Nate’s been skating a lot and can’t wait to continue to film with me.







MICAH HOLLINGER...
is currently in Arizona. He’ll be out there with friend and Duffs flow rider, Jerrod Saba for about a week. And then Micah’s moving back to Hollywood to continue his skateboarding efforts. Good Luck with the move and getting that car out of the inbound yard!






JON GOEMAN...
is waiting on deck for a couple of things at the moment. Count Jon in when it comes to going to the Make a Wish foundation in Houston, TX. Jon was there last year during Make a Wish and so we’re making it “Round 2” this year. He’s also competing in this year’s Volcom Damn Am contest in Costa Mesa next week. And if you haven’t seen Jon’s Birdhouse ad that is currently out right now, you’re blowing it - Switch F/S noseslide!

THE LIZARD KING...
was going to go on the Hellrose trip we went on but, due to a court visit Lizard had to attend in San Diego, he was unable to go. The court case was about the ASR tradeshow incident where LK and Nate spent the night in jail. - Jail birds!

DAMIAN SMITH...
has just been working, skating, and living in Philly. He too is currently in San Jose working on his intro for his part in the upcoming Santa Cruz video. He’s looking into a Columbia trip with his friends on the Habitat team in the next month and then off to Spain in late 2004 or early 2005 with Santa Cruz. I wish I was going...
