REES THE PIECE UPDATE
“I did a demo with Zorlac and these two guys from Santa Cruz for a new park that opened in Alton in Hampshire. It went ok but the park was pretty damn shite! We went down to Cornwall after and skated the new Plymouth Park and the one in Camborne. The Camborne bowls are really good. They’re getting a 9-foot kidney bowl too soon which sounds amazing. Might be going back down this weekend with Horsley, skate playing place and that. Going out doing some photos with Horsley round Nott’s for the Icon ads, I’ve got a few things planned so hopefully they’ll all come out nice. Im also goin to Prague the end of the month with Icon for a week, shooting photo’s for Sidewalk and filming for the new Video".

MEANWHILE BACK AT THE PARK 5
This years back at the park was bigger than ever with riders from all over the country killing the park. The session was crazy with collisions galore! In the under 16’s our boy Ben Raemers went off and easily won, in fact with the runs he did he could have probably won the men’s comp! Ben threw down BS ally oops into the deep, BS 270’s over the hip, inverts and miller flips and stayed on everything! The kid is going to be a force to be reckoned with in a coupe of years! Also in attendance were the Swede, Munson and Carl Wilson. Munson killed himself in the qualifiers doing fs 270 into the deep, but took home some money in the best trick comp for the same thing rolled clean, Carl got through to the final and ended up in 5th an won 50 quid for a fs kickflip Indy over the hip! The comp was won by local Stevie, with Jamie Dring in 2nd and Tom Crowe in 3rd. another sick comp at meanwhile, can't wait for concrete carnage!!!
