MATTIAS WINS BEST TRICK IN HOLLAND
After Marsielle Mattias went to the cradle in Rattenburg, Austria and had this to say:
“The cradle was cool, got loads of new tricks in it - frontside inverts and frontside heelflips in the deep. I got to the semi-finals and came 13th place.”

“The flight got cancelled coz of cracks in the runway so the next day we got the first train to Holland and decided to go to the Eindhoven bowl jam instead! I got best trick for frontside blunting the extension box and came 6th place. Flying back and then we are Going to Scotland this weekend for the T in the park festival for a demo.”

NASS 04
DuFFS were in full effect at this years NASS festival in Bath. This years event was bigger than ever with thousands of kids from all over the country turning out to see the action. DuFFS were represented well with team riders Ben Cundall, Carl Wilson, John Cattle, Paul Silvester, TM Munson, Ben Raemers plus Mattias Nylen and on the BMX side of things we had Lee Musslewhite and BMX legend and DuFFS pro Matt Hoffman!

Ben Raemers, Cundall and Carl Wilson were in the street contest with Munson getting gnarly on the street course in practice and taking down a axle stall on the 6ft wall behind one of the big 1/4s on the course - look out for that one on UKVM and Viewfinder. Cattle was there but still recovering from recent knee surgery and getting some footy for the next installment of Viewfinder. Silvester was in the house along with other Unabomber heads like Pete Hellicar.

Our man Carl Wilson made the cut from Saturday's comp, making it through to Sundays final with some nice flowing lines, ending up 8th in the street finals - good work Carl! The cockney swede Mattias was also in on the act on the vert ramp where he killed it as usual with some nice airs, bs tailslide reverts, heelflip fs airs!

On the BMX side of things Lee Musslewhite proved once again that he is one of the countries top flatlanders and took 1st place! Nice one Lee! The legend Matt Hoffman paid a flying visit to NASS - literally. He skydived into the main arena where the vert ramp was to do the demos - what an entrance!

Overall a fun weekend despite the rain - see you next year!

URBAN GAMES
This years Urban games was as big as ever with thousands of spectators turning up to check out the action. DuFFS UK riders were in full effect and were present is most of the contests over the weekend.

In the Skate street Ben Raemers and Carl Wilson were terrorizing the course but both missed the cut on Friday for Saturdays final although many thought Ben was robbe. They both made up for it on Sunday by qualifying for the ten man final with Ben Qualifying in 2nd and Carl in 6th. Both skated well in their runs with Carl ending up in 6th place and young gun Ben killing it to take 3rd and 500 quid. That's a lot of sweets! The future looks bright for that kid!!

Over on the vert ramp the cockney swede was ruling as ever until a head on collision which took him out for the weekend. With a case of severe whiplash and a cut on the head Mattias was forced to take to the sidelines but I am sure he will be back in action for the next DuFFS Concrete Carnage at southsea.

On the BMX side of things Lee Musslewhite was on fire all weekend on the flat although a jam format would have probably seen him take the top spot on both days as he ruled in practice. Ssels ended up taking 4th on Saturday and 5th on Sunday but was taking down some of the most technical moves of the weekend.

Again another good weekend for the team and another example that the DuFFS team are a force to be reckoned with -good work fellas!
