A DAY AT THE SEASIDE is not your average visit to the beach.
This ain’t about deck chairs, candy floss or ice cream
and you most definitely won’t be getting sand stuck
between your toes! THIS IS ABOUT SKATEBOARDING
This all day, all ticket event features team comps, best trick
comps and a pro demo with riders from DuFFS + special guests.
There is also a DuFFS goodie bag for everyone who enters the
comps.

Teams will consist of 4, 5 or 6 people (no more, and no less)
and the age groups will be...11 & Under, 12 - 14, and
15 & above. The judges will be impressed by not only the
excellent individual skating but also by tricks done as a
team. That is, for instance, a Mexican wave drop-in, or if
every team member does a consecutive board slide on the rail,
or if every team member goes over the door gap of the big
wall ride in sequence, or even if every team member in formation
does a kick flip at exactly the same time. Get what we mean?!
If you are an individual and wish to enter, we can arrange
teams on the day. Otherwise, it’s up to you to get your
teams sorted out and start practising! There will also be
prizes for the team with the best and cleverest name! The
individual best trick comp will work like this.... the judges
will watch you guys skating a particular ramp or obstacle
for several minutes and then dish out a prize before moving
on to the next ramp. This means those that don't want to be
in the individual comp can be skating the rest of the park.

Prizes? Yes, there’ll be loads of them from The Park
and from DuFFs!

DuFFS UK team rider and all round nice guy John Cattle has
been busy filming in sunny spain for the upcoming Death video
“Squadrophenia” and the next installment of John’s
own Viewfinder! so look out for that stuff out early summer!!
PIECES OR REES
Rees the piece has been putting it about up North. Rees was
reported to be killing the recent Death demo @ Rotherham and
is rumoured to be soon added to the Death urethane program?
Also his antics were filmed for the next UKVM so look out
for that early summer!
GENTLE BEN
Young gun DuFFS UK team rider Ben reamers has been shooting
for an upcoming feature in Sidewalk. Ben threw down a FS board
down an 8 stair and managed to FS rock the pool at rom in
one day! This kid is going to blow up that’s for sure...
XELEMENTS
Check the new Xelements mag with stuff about riders Carl Wilson
and Ben Raemers from the OG distribution tour at Broadstairs
and the shots of Ortega rider Tom Crowe all contain DuFFS
stickers

DuFFS UK BMX team rider Lee Musslewhite has quit his long
time sponsor StandardBikes!! Lee’s comments on the move
were:
"basically I am quitting standard to start my own bike
company the name will be revealed in the coming months with
the unvailing of the products!" more news on that soon!!
BMX SPOTS
Check the sick new book filled with amazing BMX shots called
“Paradigin shift” by kay Clauberg, it has some
rad shots of DuFFS pro Brian Castillo and is the first book
